Job Description

Primary Purpose:

Deliver accurate and efficient service to lenders by managing loan level inquiries, communicating with carriers, agents and lenders, processing multiple loan-related workflows and updating policy information as required to meet productivity and quality requirements

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure loan information is accurate and current by analyzing incoming data and utilizing internal tracking system to update policies at loan level and contribute to multiple documentation processing workflows
  • Ensure policy information is accurate and complete by reviewing documentation, identifying inconsistencies and missing data and contacting carriers and agencies as required to clarify issues, gather policy information and support effective insurance servicing processes
  • Inform and communicate with lenders by answering inbound service calls and conducting in-depth research within loan database to extract and analyze required information and provide comprehensive, timely responses to complex inquiries and requests
  • Ensure achievement of auditing requirements by promoting data entry best practices, accurately updating policy information and maintaining data integrity in loan tracking applications to minimize risk and uphold internal standards
  • Complete high volume of data entry by prioritizing assignments and quickly and accurately processing multiple loan-related task queues to meet productivity and quality requirements
  • Optimize individual performance and professional development by setting work-related goals, tracking personal achievements, soliciting feedback and collaborating with management to report on success and identify actionable improvement strategies
  • Develop and enhance insurance servicing skills and knowledge by participating in cross-training and taking personal initiative for learning additional processes and procedures to support multiple workflows and manage time-sensitive, complex or critical documents
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance and value “can do” people, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun

Minimum Skills and Competencies:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 2 years relevant experience
  • Experience following established procedures to complete complex processing tasks
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Applied knowledge of common computer, software, information and communication technology devices, components and concepts
  • Applied knowledge of data entry processes and procedures
  • Policies, practices, trends, technology and information affecting the business and organization
  • Utilize effective research techniques to investigate complex inquiries
  • Quickly and accurately perform data entry; keep logs, records, and files up-to-date and readily accessible
  • Follow established guidelines to focus on details and complete tasks attentively and thoroughly
  • Manage one’s own time to perform job functions quickly and efficiently
  • Maintain composure and flexibility in a fast-paced and complex changing environment
  • Represent the organization to customers and other external sources by phone or e-mail
  • Manage confidential information with sensitivity and maturity
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Works independently with little supervision
  • Utilize established procedures to guide decision-making
  • Manage and share information across business lines and with external customers
